Pallet Racking with Wire Decking Starter

Make the most of your vertical height with Republic’s pallet racking starter with wire decking. These adjustable heavy-duty pallet racks feature a teardrop design that is interchangeable with all major teardrop style Pallet Racking. This pallet rack is an ideal solution for most warehouses. Republic’s pallet rack fits with most other teardrop design industrial racking systems. That means you can upgrade any damaged, weak, or worn out uprights and beams. There won’t be a need to change your whole system. Our pallet racks include a strong and smooth paint finish. This state-of-the-art powder coat application process ensures a finish that is impact as well as corrosion resistant.

Bolted Uprights

Our pallet racking starter includes two Bolted Upright made of 14-gauge steel. They feature bolted assembly with K-brace and cross channel reinforcement, ensuring optimal load-bearing capacity and structural integrity. Uprights up to 144″ will have a standard foot plate and uprights higher than 144″ will have a heavy-duty foot plate. Designed to adhere to the latest industry standards for safety and performance.

For added versatility, our pallet rack bolted uprights are interchangeable with other major teardrop-style products on the market, allowing for seamless integration with existing systems. Finished in a durable powder coat paint, these uprights provide a professional appearance while offering corrosion resistance.

Durable Steel Beams

Republic makes the medium-duty Beams of 14-gauge steel. An enhanced automatic lock assembly also provides positive beam-to-upright engagement. This automatic lock improves installation speed and safety. Each end of the beam has three studs to engage the teardrop holes of the upright. Easily adjust the beams on 2-inch vertical centers. Since the beams install without tools it’s easy to adjust your level spacing when your storage needs change. All capacities of metal Storage Racks are also based on evenly distributed loads on a pair of beams. Pallet rack beams are available in our Safety Orange powder coat paint finish. 96″h sections come with 2 levels while 144″h sections come with 3 levels.

Wire Decking

This pallet racking system also includes 6-gauge waterfall Wire Decking panels with each level. The 2-1/2″ x 4″ wire mesh also includes 14-gauge steel channels. Both the waterfall edge and the steel channels help minimize beam rotation and prevent the decking from shifting while loading and unloading. The open style of the wires allows for increased visibility for inventory inspection. Using this wire decking also enhances fire safety by allowing more sprinkler access through the levels from top to bottom. Each wire decking panel is finished in a Frost Gray powder coat finish.

Assembly and Installation

The pallet racking starter ships unassembled. These heavy-duty metal storage rack sections assemble easily without tools. Use this starter unit either alone or combine it with other 42-inch-deep pallet rack add-on sections to create a long run of industrial racking systems. Republic strongly recommends that all storage racks be properly anchored. Make sure to install your heavy-duty metal storage racks plumb and level before anchoring them to the floor and/or wall. Use the Pallet Rack Shim Plate and Concrete Wedge Anchors to anchor your uprights to the floor.
