Description
You can quickly and easily add the pallet rack wall tie to your Pallet Rack sections! Adding a wall tie provides a stabilizing connection for the back of your rack to the adjoining wall. We make the row spacer out of heavy duty steel. It comes with a powder coat paint finish to help protect the pallet rack wall spacer from corrosion. A minimum of two wall ties are recommended for each Upright that is against a wall. You can also add a third wall tie to taller uprights for more stability.
The wall ties are available in either 6 or 8 inches deep. Using a deeper wall tie on your uprights can also allow better sprinkler access into the extra space behind your Pallet Rack Sections. You can create long, uniform rows of racking with a wall tie. Make sure your Racking is level and plumb as well as properly anchored before tying to the wall. The wall tie is not a structural piece. You should not use it as either a step or a platform. We include all the hardware attaching it to the pallet rack but not to anchor it to the wall.
