Steel Pedestal Features
Republic ‘s stainless steel trapezoid pedestals add extra strength to your indoor school bench. Republic constructs the school gym bench pedestals out of 16-gauge type 201 stainless steel. Each of the bench legs are 16-1/4-inches-high. The wide base makes it more stable than traditional locker room bench pedestal designs. The pre-drilled holes on both ends of the bases allow you to quickly attach the trapezoid pedestals to the bench top and floor. Each package contains two pedestals.
Assembly and Installation
For maximum stability, we recommend not exceeding more than 4-feet between these stainless steel trapezoid pedestals. Use the included lag bolts to attach the pedestals to your bench top. Maximum bench overhang from middle of this pedestal must not exceed 6-inches. We include anti-slip strips to help keep your school benches in place when used for portable locker benches. These locker bench pedestals are also designed to be used in a fixed position. We pre-punch holes in the base of our stainless steel trapezoid pedestals for anchoring. We strongly recommend you secure your stainless steel locker room bench pedestals to the floor for safety if using it in a fixed position.
