Description
The closed steel shelving back panel stabilizes the back of 2000 series closed industrial steel shelving. Closed Metal Shelving Units have both closed sides and backs. Since the backs are closed off these are great for creating rows of back-to-back industrial steel shelving. Republic’s 2000 series is ideal for use as either warehouse or Industrial Shelving. Because of our design, you can easily swap out damaged boltless shelving parts with ease.
Republic makes the closed steel shelving back panel out of 24-gauge steel. We punch 3 vertical rows of 3/8-inch holes on 1-1/2-inch centers so it can easily bolt to an angle post upright. Republic includes all the assembly hardware with this back panel so you can easily install it. These back panels easily attach to the angle posts using the included nuts and bolts. Industrial Shelving Components like the back panel provide side to side stability and support to help minimize sway.
